Smart strategy making the hard parts of financial technology easier
Ise Lund founded PL Interactive in 2000 to help organizations navigate the leading edge of technology without losing sight of the fundamentals: customers, data, and trust. Across 25 years and a long-standing love of the technological frontier, Ise has developed a talent for sorting the hype from what’s genuinely useful, and for turning that insight into systems institutions can stand behind.
Her career began in product leadership — building search engines and online directories, leading a team of 50 responsible for relevance, measurement, and results. It moved through the translation of offline experience into digital, and the optimization of customer journeys for measurable return. Over time that experience matured into a focus on the back-end systems that make modern financial services work: data governance, identity and access management, privacy, consent, and regulatory compliance.
The constant has been the goal beneath the technology: removing the barriers between an organization and the people technology serves, while protecting those people’s data and meeting the rules that govern it.
As AI raises the stakes on all three, that experienced perspective matters more, not less.
